Great Value at Reduced Price August 28, 2010 Wolfhound (Palmdale, CA) These disks have always been at the top of my list to buy of all the Blank DVD choices. They make very few coasters and hold their data well. I used to buy them at Sam's Club for 30 dollars a hundred but now at 20 dollars they sell for what the cheaper disks go for. I can't go wrong. Thanks Amazon. I would buy these again.
TOO MANY BAD DVDS per PACKAGE!!! August 23, 2010 BevGuhl (Austin, TX) I'm a photographer and I archive thousands of photos to DVD every year. I'm on DVD 251 right now. Of the first 25 DVDs out of this package I've already had 11 FAIL to write!!! I just got off the phone with Verbatim, and while they are offering to replace any failed DVDs, that doesn't help me recover the time wasted waiting for a DVD to write, only to fail, and have to repeat the process. Now I have doubts about the quality of the DVDs that did write; are they going to be reliable? I plan to re-achive all those images on a different brand DVD just to be safe. I've used Memorex and Fuji and maybe had 2 or 3 fail to write out of 100. Maybe this was a bad batch?? I don't know, but I'm NEVER BUYING THIS BRAND AGAIN!!!
Forget Coaster City, this is a Coaster Continent! August 20, 2010 Danny Zaragoza (LAREDO, TX, US) So far only 1 out of 10 succesful burns. With Sony I had 50 for 50 Succesful burns. What more do i need to say? Not worth the 20$ for 100!
You don't always save money trying to save money.. August 11, 2010 John Johnson (Palm Springs) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You don't always save money trying to save money. That is especially true with DVD media. I have tried all sorts of other brands and have gotten as many coasters as I have usable disks. The failure rate for the first pack of Verbatim I bought was so low that when I needed more I bought Verbatim. Quality saves you time and in the long run it is cheaper.
Best DVD-Rs Available!!! July 26, 2010 RoodyPooDude 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These Verbatim DVD-Rs are the best quality discs I have ever used. With more than 1000 discs burned, I have only had maybe 4 or 5 duds, which is a 0.5% failure rate. I've used discs from Taiwan, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and India, all of which worked just fine for me. I've also had NO problems with Amazon's shipments. The enhanced wrapper protection has been sufficient for me, unlike when I ordered from Office Max...
